A. P. Diva finished second in the $50,000 Cincinnati Trophy Stakes at Turfway Park on Jan. 21, the second straight stakes-placed effort for the 3-year-old daughter of A. P. Warrior. In her previous start, the Kentucky-bred filly was third in the Gowell Stakes, also at Turfway.

A. P. Diva raced head-and-head on the front end, took the lead into the stretch, but couldn't hold off the favorite late and wound up taking the $9,500 runner-up check after 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:17.99. The promising filly is 1-1-2 in five starts with earnings of $31,550.
