Red Danger went wire-to-wire under Hall of Fame rider Russell Baze in an $18,820 starter allowance at Golden Gate Fields on Jan. 29. Baze put the 3-year-old colt on the lead at the outset and the son of Value Plus reached the wire a neck in front in 1:39.06 for the mile. The Kentucky-bred went off as the 9/5 favorite and earned $10,980 for his second career victory.
