Burnt Offering, a 3-year-old by Burning Roma, rallied from fourth place in a $28,200 allowance race at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town on Dec. 28 and took down the $16,800 winner's check with a strong late run. It was the second victory in a row for the Florida-bred gelding, who made a three-wide move on the turn and wore down his rivals nearing the wire. It was his third victory in nine starts this year, and he raised his earnings to $40,170.
