Stonewall Farm Ocala’s freshman sire Da Stoops had his first winner from his first starter on May 14th, when 2-year-old filly Humorus Girl captured her debut by 2 ½ lengths in an allowance race at Camerero racetrack in Puerto Rico.

The chestnut filly drew away from the field in the two-furlong dash, stopping the clock in 23.54 seconds. Humorus Girl is trained by Jose Velez for owner Establo Villa Real, and she was bred in Florida by Deborah Brozio from the winning Tactical Advantage mare Happybirthdaygirl.

“We're thrilled to see Da Stoops get his first winner this early in the year,” said Stonewall's Michelle Hemingway. “It gives us high hopes for the rest of the season. From of a relatively small first crop, it's very promising to see him being successful in the sales arena, as well as at the racetrack.”

Da Stoops is arguably Distorted Humor’s fastest son at stud. He ran 1:08 and change twice as a racehorse, earning a 106 Beyer Speed Figure at two and 110 Beyer Speed Figure at three. A multiple stakes winner of $640,906, Da Stoops stands for $3,500 S&N.
