With his latest 2-year-old winner coming on Dec. 6 at Mountaineer Park, freshman sire Da Stoops is ranked fourth among all Florida first crop sires. The filly Da Nella was a gate-to-wire winner going five and one-half furlongs over the main track.

The dark bay or brown filly was bred by Marilyn McMaster and is owned by Tilford Sharp. Da Nella has never been worse than second in three career outings, earning $16,184 to date.

Da Stoops leading runner on the year is Limbo Dancer. The dark bay or brown filly has won three of five lifetime starts for owners Christian Maingot and Jose Pinchin. Her latest win came Nov. 18 at Calder in a five and one-half furlong starter allowance, which she won comfortably by a length.

Limbo Dancer was bred in Florida by Michelle Redding.

Da Stoops is arguably Distorted Humor’s fastest son at stud. He ran 1:08 and change twice, earning a 106 Beyer Speed Figure at two and 110 Beyer Speed Figures at three. A multiple stakes winner of $640,906, Da Stoops will stand for $3,500 S&N in 2011.
