Romanova went after the leaders with a three-wide middle move, surged to the front by two lengths in the stretch and held off even-money favorite Nae Problem by three-quarters of a length at Tampa Bay Downs on Jan. 28. It was another five lengths back to the third-place finisher. The 3-year-old Florida-bred filly by Burning Roma raced a mile and 40 yards in 1:43.46 as she picked up her second victory.
