Great Attack finished second in the $60,000 Gulfstream Park Turf Sprint Stakes for the second straight year on Jan. 15, the fourth stakes-placed performance for the son of Greatness. Great Attack stalked a quick early pace under Jeffrey Sanchez, then was outfinished by one length by Private Jet after a furious drive to the wire. The five furlongs on the grass went in :55.48.
Great Attack, "the horse nobody wanted," posted his first stakes-placed finish in the race last season. He's now 4-4-2 in 14 starts with earnings of $245,918 for owners Jeff Seder and Patti Miller.
