Great Dancer didn't let the rain and sloppy track deter him from his appointed rounds, winning at a flat mile on Dec. 27 for his fifth career victory. The 5-year-old gelded son of Greatness sat eighth and last for more than half a mile, barreled up three wide on the turn and inhaled the leaders down the lane to win going away by four lengths, clocked in 1:40.72. The Florida-bred gelding raised his earnings to $65,520.
