Melinao, a 3-year-old by Greatness, was a ton the best in an "about" 5 1/2-furlong handicap race over the main track at Club Hipico de Concepcion in Chile on Nov. 15. The Chilean-bred gelding was 5 1/4 lengths in front at the finish, clocked in 1:04.73. Melinao was sent off as the 2-1 favorite in a field of 14.
