With veteran Jose Ferrer in the irons, the 3-year-old daughter of Strong Contender was content to sit in mid-pack, nearly seven lengths off the leaders, until uncorking her winning move coming into the stretch and outkicking her two rivals in deep stretch. Kentucky-bred Latika Love was sent off as the 7/5 second choice and collected a check for $13,200.
