Marfach, champion Leroidesanimaux’s first winner, also became his sire’s first Group/graded stakes horse, as the 2-year-old colt finished second in the Group 3 KRA Tyro Stakes July 23 at Leopardstown in Ireland.

Marfach was bred in Kentucky by Richard Tod Beckett from the stakes-producing mare Rhondaling (GB). The colt is a half-brother to Eclipse champion and multiple Grade 1-winning millionaire Gourmet Girl. European conditioner Jim Bolger trains him for owner Ennistown Stud.

Last month, Marfach won a maiden race at Roscommon racecourse in Ireland, and now owns a record of 1-2-0 from three starts in his young career.
