December started off good for Stonewall's Leroidesanimaux, with first time starter Toni's the Won getting a maiden victory on Dec. 2. Leroidesanimaux is Florida's leading second-crop sire of graded winners and the Sunshine State's fourth ranked second-crop sire overall.
At Laurel Park, the 2-year-old filly Toni's the Won scored nicely by four lengths in the six furlong sprint. The chestnut filly was bred in Kentucky by Copper Penny Stable LLC and is owned by Double K Stable.
Toni's the Won is out of the stakes placed mare House Virgin and hails from the same family as Virginia Rapids, winner of the Grade 1 Carter H. and three other graded stakes.
Leroidesanimaux has five Graded stakes
horses, led by Indiana Oaks (G2) winner Always a Princess, Will
Rogers (G3) winner Leroy's Dynameaux, and 4-time Group placed Glor Na
Mara (G1), one of the best two-year-olds in Europe.
