Marvelous Macy, an Oklahoma-bred daughter of Da Stoops who has done all her racing in the mid-west, picked up her first victory on Oct. 14 in a $31,150 maiden special at Remington Park. The 2-year-old filly was sent off as the 8/5 favorite in the 5 1/2-furlong race under David Cardoso and was 3 1/2 lengths clear at the wire clocked in 1:04.26. She lit up the teletimer along the way with sizzling fractions of :21.61, :45.21 and :57.50. Prior to breaking her maiden, in her first four starts Marvelous Macy had picked up three seconds and a third, and her bank account swelled to $43,458.
