No Shenanigans, a $250,000 2-year-old-in-training purchase earlier this year, broke his maiden August 22nd in a $38,000 maiden special weight heat at Monmouth Park to become Value Plus’s seventh juvenile winner from his debut crop.
Trained by Todd Pletcher, No Shenanigans – a big attractive gray colt like his sire – stretched his speed around two turns to score a front-running win by a measured length Saturday, stopping the clock in 1:39.89 for a mile over a sloppy local main track following day-long rains.
Let’s Go Stable acquired No Shenanigans for a quarter million at OBS this past spring. The colt is now Value Plus’s leading earner to date with a bankroll of $32,170.
