The 4-year-old filly by It's No Joke came from mid-pack in a field of 10 to get up by half a length in the $26,300 maiden special. California-bred Mum's Joke, the 5/2 second choice, won for the first time after posting three straight seconds, and the $15,600 check increased her bank account to $39,750.
