Operative Assets, a son of A. P. Warrior, was awarded first place at Turfway Park after Valentino's First wiped out most of the field heading down the backstretch, went on to win and was disqualified and placed seventh. The stewards moved Kentucky-bred Operative Assets up to the win position after the 2-year-old colt battled for the lead three-wide for the entire mile trip, and finished second to the disqualifed horse.
