Red Danger broke his maiden in his second career start in Northern California on Oct. 21, winning by 3 1/4 widening lengths despite encountering problems soon after the break. The 2-year-old son of Value Plus was forced to steady early in the six-furlong race, but recovered nicely and raced up the rail to battle for the lead. He increased the advantage in the stretch and scored handily for trainer/co-owner Jerry Hollendorfer. Red Danger was bred in Kentucky by Stonewall Stallions.
