Sarah’s Secret made it two wins in as many starts when the 2-year-old daughter of Leroidesanimaux (Brz) was victorious in a first-level allowance Oct. 7 at the Oak Tree meet at Hollywood Park.

Owned by breeder Joan Hadley Thoroughbreds and trained by Kathy Walsh, the chestnut filly out of the Luhuk mare Sarasota angled off the inside in the stretch and ran past the pacesetter Tales in Excess in the final yards. Sarah’s Secret ran the 6 1/2-furlongs over Cushion Track in 1:16.24, good for an 82 Beyer Speed Figure.

An off-the-pace winner in her initial try at Del Mar on Aug. 22, Sarah’s Secret, who won by a half-length, increased her earnings to $54,000.

While her next race isn't set in stone, two options during the Hollywood Park fall meeting are the $100,000 Moccasin S. over seven furlongs on Nov. 21 or the $250,000 Hollywood Starlet S. (G1) over 1 1/16 miles on Dec. 11.

Leroidesanimaux has sired five Group/Graded stakes horses from his first two crops, more than any other second crop sire in Florida, and fourth best among all second crop sires in North America.
