Under a perfectly-judged ride from Seth Martinez, Silver Craft came from third place at the top of the stretch and outgamed hard-charging Catfeinated to the wire in a six-furlong test at Hawthorne with a purse of $27,000. The 4-year-old Kentucky-bred colt by Value Plus had been knocking at the door in recent starts, and with his third career victory and a check for $16,200, boosted his earnings to $111,827.
