Awesome Fire broke her maiden in her second start at Woodbine under Emma-Jayne Wilson on Sept. 15, coming from next-to-last to win by two widening lengths. The 2-year-old filly was caught in 1:23.96 for the seven furlongs. Wilson was aboard again just 14 days later as Awesome Fire finished second in a seven-furlong main-track allowance race, beaten just a half-length. She's 1-1-0 in three starts with $36,574 in the bank.
