Greatness picked up a pair of winners on Sunday, Sept. 11, one at Canterbury Park and the other at Calder Casino & Race Course.

At Canterbury, Grace of Greatness won an allowance test at "about" a mile on the grass by 2 1/4 lengths, clocked in 1:40.59. The 3-year-old filly was a prohibitive 1/5 on the tote board and paid $2.60 under Derek Bell. With her third victory in eight tries, Grace of Greatness surpassed the $40,000 mark in earnings.

The winner at Calder was So Great, a 3-year-old filly who was 2 1/2 lengths the best in a seven-furlong allowance that went in 1:25.99 over the main track. So Great, who was sent off at 6/5, stalked the early pace, then blew past the leader to open up a four-length lead in the stretch, and coasted home well in hand under leading rider Luis Saez. In her previous start, So Great broke her maiden by nearly nine lengths at odds of five cents to a dollar. She's 2-1-0 in three starts and her earnings have reached $39,893.
