Leading Freshman Sire Value Plus closed out his first season of 2-year-olds on the track in good fashion when his filly Cenizo broke her maiden at Santa Anita to give the brilliant son of Unbridled’s Song 18 juvenile winners in 2009.

Cenizo, a $100,000 purchase earlier this year at OBS, broke her maiden by a measured length in 1:04.36 for 5 ½ furlongs over the local synthetic surface. The gray filly is trained by Julio Canani for Prestonwood Farm LLC.
