Under a well-judged ride by Danny Coa, Valueable Silver went wire-to-wire in an impressive 6 1/2-furlong performance at Tampa Bay Downs on Jan. 15. The 4-year-old gelded son of Value Plus, sent off as the 2-1 favorite, was three lengths in front in mid-stretch and coasted home by 4 1/4, clocked in a solid 1:18.47. It was the third victory in 13 starts for the Florida-bred gelding.
