A weanling filly from the first crop of the late champion Lawyer Ron proved to be popular at the Keeneland November Sale during the Nov. 11th session, selling for $275,000 as Hip No. 328 with Shadwell Estate Company Ltd. signing the ticket.

The attractive filly hails from the graded stakes-producing Lord Carson mare The Hess Express, who is the dam of Grade 1 winner Bullsbay, a top handicap horse of 2008. She is also a half-sister to the leading 2-year-old filly Hidden Expression, winner of the Colleen S.

Sold on Day 2 of the sale, the chestnut filly was consigned by Bluegrass Thoroughbred Services, Inc.
