2011 Florida-Bred Breeders' Awards
Under the current plan, beginning in January 2011, Breeders’ Awards will be paid to the breeder of a Florida-bred registered with the FTBOA that finishes in first, second or third place in a race at a Florida Thoroughbred track as follows:
1st place—Ten percent of the announced gross purse, less any Florida Owners’ Awards included therein, with each such Breeders’ Award limited to no more than $10,000;
2nd place—Three percent of the announced gross purse, less any Florida Owners’ Awards included therein, with each such Breeders’ Award limited to no more than $3,000; and
3rd place—Two percent of the announced gross purse, less any Florida Owners’ Awards included therein, with each such Breeders’ limited to no more than $1,500.
2011 Florida-Bred Breeder Bonus Award
Florida Thoroughbred Breeders' and Owners' Association will pay to the breeder of a registered Florida-bred winner a bonus based on the balance of the awards account (through Dec. 31) after having first:
- Paid Stallion Owners' Awards as set forth
- Paid Breeders' Awards as set forth
- Maintained a reserve necessary to meet future cash flow requirements for stallion owners' awards and breeders' awards as determined by the FTBOA Board of Directors.
The breeder bonus awards shall be on a pro rata share based (of the funds available) on the awards the breeder has received through the preceding 12 months.
That up to 10 percent of the gross receipts be withheld in accordance with statutes for administrative and promotional fee.
The awards total in excess of $5 million annually with approximately 90 percent going to breeders' awards and 10 percent to stallion owners' awards.

Stonewall Incentive Programs
- "Guaranteed Breed-Back” Program
Stonewall Farm Ocala LLC will provide a Guaranteed Breed-Back season at a 50% discount while guaranteeing that if a live foal is not produced, then a complimentary season will be made available the following year to the same stallion.
- Graded Stakes Mare Program
Stonewall Farm Ocala LLC will provide a one-time complimentary, no-guarantee season to an approved graded stakes winner or graded stakes winner producer.
- Guaranteed Breed-Back Program
In the event your mare does not produce a live foal after being pronounced in-foal to a Stonewall Farm Ocala LLC stallion, we will issue a complimentary contract for the following year to the same stallion. If your mare dies while in-foal and therefore is unable to be bred another approved mare may be substituted.
