Dani was raised on Big Maples Quarter Horse farm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she became involved with horses at an early age.  By her teen years, she was breaking horses to pay for her education at Penn State, where she studied Bio-Genetics.  She later traveled between California and Ocala galloping racehorses for some of the industry’s top entities including Live Oak Stud, Eddie Woods, Winding Oaks, Adena Springs, etc.  Dani’s proficiency and talent for developing young horses did not go unnoticed and it was only a matter of time before she caught the attention of leading pinhooker Murray Smith. She was hired as assistant trainer, running all aspects of Smith’s stable at home and at sales.  During her term with Smith, Dani assisted in the training of many star graduates including Kentucky Derby winner Monarchos, Strong Contender, and Glitter City.  She came to Stonewall in September of 2009 and was assigned the position of Farm Manager, overseeing all aspects of the operation, including broodmares, weanlings, yearlings and stallions, as well as the training horse division.  Supported by her experienced and knowledgeable staff, Dani mans the helm of an operation that is rapidly developing into Florida’s premier thoroughbred breeding establishment.

Returning to the U.S. in 2008, Michelle accepted a position in the sales division at Adena Springs, then moved to Stonewall Farm Ocala in February 2010 to accept the position of Director of Sales, with an international perspective.
